Most DeFi content is either chasing the next narrative or buried in protocol docs.

The DeFi Digest sits in the middle: what I’m watching, what the data suggests, and where the risks are, written for people who want to think clearly about crypto.

Each issue covers what is actually moving across Ethereum, DeFi, yield markets, airdrops, RWAs, and onchain trends. I try to be useful the way a sharp friend in the space would be: direct, specific, and willing to say when something looks wrong.

What you’ll get

  • Weekly DeFi market updates and Ethereum ecosystem analysis

  • Stablecoin yield and strategy breakdowns

  • Airdrop opportunities with honest risk notes

  • RWA, restaking, Base, and emerging protocol coverage

  • Onchain charts, analytics, and research worth reading

  • Curated podcasts and threads I’d actually send to someone

Who writes this

I’m Yannis. I’ve been investing in the Ethereum ecosystem since 2017 and researching DeFi closely for years.

I was early on airdrops like Uniswap, ENS, and Paraswap. Those were not random wins. They came from spending time close to the protocols, using the products, and paying attention before they became obvious.

I started The DeFi Digest because I kept doing this research anyway and figured it was worth writing down.

What makes this different

Most crypto newsletters either hype everything or hedge everything. I try to do neither.

When something looks interesting, I explain the mechanics. When something looks risky, I say so directly. Being in this space since 2017 means I’ve watched enough cycles to know the difference between a real narrative and a distraction.

This is not financial advice. It is a research letter for people who want to think better about DeFi.
